This activated carbon filter should be used in stage number 2 if installing in a 5 stage reverse osmosis system, don't use as stage 1 or 3 and if you have a 4 stage reverse osmosis system don't use this filter, you will need to get a CTO carbon block filter, it should be installed in stage 2 after a sediment filter as stage 1.

This filter is wrapped and sealed and meets NSF Standards and Regulations. Filter will fit any residential reverse smosis unit that features standard 10” filter housing ( look for compatible systems list )
